Mohd Syafiq Bin Rosli born 7 December 1990, previously known as KC and rebranded his stage name to Issa, is a local rapper-songwriter and producer.

Issa was born in Kedah and raised in Penang Island. He fell in love with hip-hop culture in 2002 and began his professional bboying journey from 2003 - 2013.

He began learning to write his first 16 bars in 2014 with his new collective "Lawalah Familia" which is based in Kuala Lumpur, He released his first underground single "Hilang" featuring his producer Sabbala and Adam Stepler on YouTube.

In 2015 he was appointed as "Lawalah Familia" captain and has borne the responsibility till date. He is responsible for Lawalah Familia's tremendous success as a top collective in Malaysia.

"Lawalah familia" has received numerous awards and released "Ramai Lagi Lawa The Mixtape" & "Lawalah Vets EP" featuring USA rap duo Natural Born Spitter.

As a solo journey, Issa has been collaborating with local and international rapper

In 2017 he was featured in "A23 Worldwide Cypher" along with 22 other rappers from all around the world.

One of his internationally featured songs "Kampong Boogie" with Singaporean/Canadian rapper Masia One and Philipines rapper Kjah produced by DJ ALX from Portugal was included in the Netflix Original series "Altered Carbon" Season 2.

He started to pursue his solo journey by making draft songs through his old YouTube channel "KC The Buzzin Hornetz".

Later then he started to pick several of his draft songs and decided to properly record, mix, and master them.

His new music video "Main" featuring Nocout has been released on YouTube and all streaming platforms.

He is preparing his EP and will be releasing it as soon as all songs have been completed.
