“Dearly Departed”  is a raw track that captures my journey and struggles. I open the track by urging everyone to get their team up and prepare, because what I’m about to deliver will move them whether it be emotionally or physically. Reflecting on my grind and hustle, I contrast my frequent travels around the world with those who spend all their time in a booth. Dealing with heavy emotions, I express my uncertainty and the hope I hold for those carrying similar burdens.

I touch on my daily prayers and gratitude, despite life’s difficulties. I emphasize the importance of getting outside and making the most of what you’re given, sharing how a glimpse of how much effort and energy it takes to be me, needing a quarter in my wood to make it through the night touches on the fact that there was once a time where I couldn’t sleep without it easing the friction of life. The track also delves into the concept of fearlessness and loyalty, with only the fear of GOD guiding me.

In the second verse, I repeat my opening lines to highlight the core message. I convey the urgency of my words and the reality check for those listening. I challenge the listeners to take action, much like the medication that keeps them going. My dedication and daily challenges have allowed me to observe the impact and the fake personas around me, positioning myself as an influential figure, like Michael.

I point out the superficiality in others’ actions and how they lack the soul and substance needed. The track is a declaration of my experiences, struggles, and the path I’ve carved, aiming to inspire others to step up and wake up to the world around them.
