A duo making some serious noise of late, Latvian pairing Queer On Acid are on a roll following material on Dense & Pika's Kneaded Pains and an impressive remix of TERR and Daniel Watts on Clash Lion across recent months. Raised on Chicago’s vibrant house sound with toes dipped into Detroit techno and Europe’s more robust approaches to bass music and the myriad of genres coming from cities like Berlin, London and Paris.

Alinka is back with a brand new EP, Power of Today. The title track is a chilled out dance tune which uses a plethora of electronic instruments and sounds to create an absorbing mix which will keep you moving. With a classic house melody as the backbone of the track, the delays and samples arrive to put you in a 90s vibe - the intelligent use of different sounds, reverbs and risers keeps you hooked into this song and the Gorillaz style vocals add the cherry on top. 

Beginners is another groovy dance tune that is all electric and all round good vibes. Using a wonderfully dialed in organ to add the melody, this track sounds like it belongs as the theme song for a classic Nintendo game. With a cute melody and top shelf production, this tune fits into any party, poolside or club.

Rounding off the EP comes Til You Return. This track features everything you love about house music. With a pounding beat throughout, the soundscape effects and electronic layers all combine to make a real club anthem here. With a vintage vibe again, this is a perfect way to end a fantastic EP. Familiar sounds with added finesse fit for 2023.

Kotelett is one half of Kotelett & Zadak, the idiosyncratic house duo who have clocked up releases on respected imprints including Katermukke, Selador and Natura Viva. Recording solo for his latest single, Kotelett now returns to Poker Flat Recordings. 

I Don't Know starts life as a moody, slick deep house cut, but transforms into a joyously uplifting floor-filling with the graudal introduction of snatches of vocal and triumphant piano chords. On remix duties, Audiojack beef everything up, adding an overall techier flavour complete with rumbling bassline and epic breakdown.

Said the artist of its creation: "This started life as just a fun jam when I couldn't get on with another remix. But the fun of the nineties piano chords finally got me to put my hands up in the studio, and convinced me to finish it.

The vocal would have been a taboo for me for a long time, now it really gets into me! It's always a nice feeling when you can leave your old belief at the roadside".

REX GOSKE, the Colombian Producer and DJ, continues experimenting with sounds from different cultures, this time under an atmosphere of traveling through the Middle East. Inspired and protected by faith in angels and archangels, he presents “MIKHAEL”, a sonic tribute to the Archangel Mikhael (eastern name) or Michael (For Spanish speakers), who is known for his strength, courage and leadership. He is often depicted as a warrior, protector, and champion of justice, wielding powers such as invulnerability, super strength, speed, and the ability to manipulate light and fire.

This “track” represents that dominant force over darkness, a mostly instrumental track that contains Arabic chants that turn it into a mystical sound journey, with a lot of power for the dance floor, strong bass and “acid house” lines, supported by percussion and sounds of strings and ethnic winds. It was mixed by REX GOSKE in his Covenant studio and masterfully mastered by the renowned Grammy-winning Colombian engineer: FELIPE LÓPEZ at OndaSelecta Studio.

After his successful recording career in electronic music, signing his previous works with prestigious labels such as: Bias Beach, Sol Selectas, Stellar Fountain, Soundteller, NYLO and Soviett Records, sharing a catalog with renowned international artists; REX GOSKE returns to digital platforms to present "MIKHAEL" under the Serbian record label TIBETANIA RITUALS with whom he had already released the EP “Santa Muerte”.

This release continues to consolidate the producer with a homogeneous and unique sound that grows his catalog with a view to enhancing his projection and international tours in his DJ Set and Live Act format.

Inspirado y protegido bajo la fe en los ángeles y arcángeles, presenta “MIKHAEL”, un tributo sonoro al Arcángel Mikhael (nombre oriental) o Miguel (Para los Hispano hablantes), el cual es conocido por su fuerza, coraje y liderazgo. A menudo se le representa como un guerrero, un protector y un campeón de la justicia, ejerciendo poderes como la invulnerabilidad, la superfuerza, la velocidad y la capacidad de manipular la luz y el fuego.

Este “track” representa esa fuerza dominante sobre la oscuridad, una pista instrumental en su mayoría, que contiene cantos árabes que la convierten en un viaje sonoro místico, con mucho poder para la pista de baile, bajos contundentes y líneas de “acid house”, soportado por percusiones y sonidos de cuerdas y vientos étnicos.
