Having met nearly over a decade now, My Friend, AKA James Levey & Archie Ward, have been honing their DJ & production skills, unleashing an assured flow of singles for the likes of Anjunadeep, Fly Boy Records, as well as for Street Tracks.  Blurring the lines, or rather building the bridges, between house, techno and progressive, the duo carve out a couple of stellar new tracks on the ‘Atomic Burger’ single.

Big room sounds are delivered in abundance on title track ‘Atomic Burger’, as rasping saw synths and a melodious bassline worm around a driving rhythm, flecked with ravey stabs and a seductive vocal hook.  ‘Dusty Knuckles’ is built upon some real heavyweight drums, filled with breaks and fills, occasionally rolling out into a breakbeat.  A gargantuan sound is accomplished via dense hoover bass, rising pads and deft keys, plenty of drama in this pure banger! 

Another class entry into My Friend’s ever-expanding catalogue!
