ARTIST BIO:
Born and brought up in India, NAX was heavily influenced by the euphoric sounds of the Goa trance scene at a young age. This early love for deep and melodic shades of dance music left a lasting mark on his musical preference. His taste and performance style has since evolved to grow closer to the darker and more magnetic dance floor beats found in European techno while still retaining his core deeper sound signature.

Through this juxtaposition NAX brings a unique flavor and ambience to the dance floor that is easy to identify but hard to classify, combining deep, progressive, hypnotic and moody selections within the umbrellas of house and techno.

About Brendan Hughes:

Liverpool-based DJ Brendan Hughes has carved out a niche in the electronic music scene with a deep-rooted passion for futuristic and progressive sounds. His love affair with electronic music began early, sparked by the groundbreaking work of Jean-Michel Jarre. The futuristic tones and atmospheric soundscapes caught his attention at a young age, shaping his musical sensibilities. In 1989, Hughes was introduced to house music, a pivotal moment that solidified his dedication to the genre.

Driven by his love for deep, dark vibes and dreamy, escapist atmospheres, Hughes continues to refine his craft and share his passion through his DJ sets. His sets are a carefully curated blend of progressive house, designed to take listeners on a journey through rich textures and emotive soundscapes.

Hughes hosts a radio show titled Mindscape, which premiered on September 21st 2024 and airs every other Saturday on Mixpub Radio. His show offers listeners a chance to delve deeper into the sounds that inspire him, showcasing his dedication to progressive house and its many shades.

With decades of experience and an unwavering passion for the genre, Brendan Hughes is a prominent figure in the progressive house community, consistently delivering sets that are captivating and inspiring.

It was a huge milestone in my life to perform in the main hall of the legendary Zurich HIVE Club with many great artists in the line up! 

I had been waiting for this opportunity for years. After the performance, I stayed at the club until 7 AM to relax a bit with that amazing crowd. Clearly, the good flow didn't end in the morning. 

After a few hours of sleep, we played another 3 hours on Sunday afternoon in a pleasant private after-hours setting. We also recorded this B2B set. It turned out to be a very nice, true journey-like AFTER HOURS set.
