Shamefully, I haven't actually gotten far enough into FF8 to hear this song in context! I first heard it as part of FFXIV's Eden raid (www.youtube.com/watch?v=dRTefk-XgDU). That arrangement is amazing, but I feel like it loses some of the crazy prog rock vibes of the original - so this is my attempt at finding a middle ground between the two versions :)
