Abeille (Melis Eser) is a rising selector from Turkey, now based in Florida. While in Turkey she frequently performed at the renowned dance hub RX ISTANBUL. Since moving to FL her notoriety has steadily risen due to her dynamic performances and ability to direct a dance floor. 

This set was recorded live last Saturday night at Cxllective's Lovers & Friends 3 (The Nest - St. Pete Brewing Co. - St. Petersburg, Fl.)

For release number 045, Luv Shack Records brings together two long time contributors Jakobin and ROTCIV for a split EP thats brimming with references to early 90s electronica.

Jakobin lays the foundation with the bubbly, trance infused „Drawan“, follows up with the spooky, upbeat electro of „Skulpt“, and finishes off with „Octagonial Tribe“, a track that oscillates between laid back melodies and squelchy acid sequences.

On the flip-side, ROTCIV showcases his signature style of industrial new beat madness: „Frenesy“ marries breakbeats with syncopated synthesizer sequences, „No More Room in Hell“ sound like a late 80s Italo Disco instrumental on steroids, while „The Confidence“ opts for broken beats and ethereal FM-flutes. As a digital bonus, ROTCIV gifts us with a heavy hitting, acid infused track by the name of „Living Art“.

Solenoid returns to House Music with a fantastic release from an emerging DJ and producer of great talent: Ahni. The three tracks of the EP "Charli" are characterised by a distinct 90s progressive house vibe while always keeping an eye towards the contemporary, maintaining a high BPM and strong energy throughout. Cxllective was founded by a small group of dancers on a sweltering spring day in St. Petersburg, Florida 2019. Without intending to, they inevitably popularized the idea of "pop-up dance parties" in their area.  In the early days of the Cxllective - they found every danceable square foot of concrete in the city and made it into a full-blown session.  Often times they would keep the event location secret until the same day, which always added to the buzz. It was widely noted that these meetups were ahead of their time - and much needed for the dancers in southwest Florida. 

Fast forward to today & they're still dancing - but with the addition of monthly indoor events and having broadened their network of artists. The Cxllective is focused on serving an underground community of dancers and artists - the ones who truly breathe life into this niche.
