Following his two-track vocal EP, Jasmine, released on Mixpak earlier this year, Murlo is back with the all-instrumental Odyssey, his boldest artistic statement to date. Eight tracks deep, Odyssey is a winding journey through the ever-fantastical world of the UK producer, a world where weighty bass, soaring melodies and frenetic percussion all hold positions of power.

The lead track, “Moodswung,” shares a peek of what Odyssey represents as a whole. A maze of memorable melodies layered with levels like a computer game, it feels like a powerwalk through a harp-laden dreamscape. “Cascade” is a club tune as intricate as a symphony – where synths run over each other with the urgency and beauty of a waterfall. Pieced together with the majesty of “Lanced,” the melodic freneticism of “Hunter,” the other-worldliness of “High Rise” and the club delirium of “Furnace,” this is signature Murlo: instantly recognizable as his own distinct sound, and yet, never predictable.

Odyssey is a record free of genre: it’s uncompromising yet accessible experimental electronica at its best, reminding us why Murlo has become a unique figure in the UK underground.

Here we present you our fourth release, and one that will be given away from today for NOWT. We decided way more people need to hear about the force that is Celsius, so let's give them a little taster.

Off the back of his debut EP 'Super FM' on Uno Mas earlier this year, our londoner Celsius recieved some amazing attention and Radio play. With the likes of Annie Mac, Skream & Benga, Jaymo & Andy George and Nick Grimshaw supporting the tracks on Radio 1, and Dj support coming in from Switch to Sub Focus, from Zombie Disco Squad to Waifs & Strays to Perseus, Celsius' sound has hit a fairly wide spectrum indeed.

His next track 'Must Be You' (produced exclusively for Jaymo & Andy George's Moda Black Compliation) went on to be one of the most talked about tracks on the release, with Claude Von Stroke playing it in the Discoteca at Space Ibiza, and even Jozif mentioning to Jay and Andy that even he gives it a spin. Mega.

With a cheeky remix for Jody Wisternoff's solo project on Anjunadeep also in the bag, and a truck load of material ready to go, we arrive at present day.

'This Way' is at heart a straight up club banger, but with a few surprises thrown in. Trademark strings and swung percussion play hand in hand with garage rave stabs (not that kind), cut up vox and orchestral plucks, with a good old bit of piano chucked in to boot. It's a little taster, but just the start.
