next slightly damaged mix is produced by @antvers. Part of @Karagi and @decadence-paris as a DJ, he's also an passionate juice vendor at the Cadi Paris 🍷.

Born and raised in the North of France, he grew up inspired by the Belgian electronic scene of the 90's, which has led him to perpetually search for new music and inspirations, for years, without boundaries between genres and eras. 

This mix is a selection of music that touches him deeply and puts him in a state of peaceful meditation, which can be compared to floating in the air, with nothing on your mind. 
Ant Vers firmly believes in the influence of music on your mental health.

We met Eluize by chance in Berlin when she was playing at IPSE with us a while ago now. We loved what she did in the booth that day and have been in touch ever since. She's got lots on the go so we thought we'd get her back for another mix for the SB series.

"For this mix I wanted to bring together joyful, sparkling tunes mixed with moments of acid and off kilter kicks. Lots of things I love right now, from all across the genre spectrum, expect prog house and melodic techno with touches of disco, electro and breaks. 

I’ve got a super fun next few months touring AUS, celebrating my new release Lucidity on Motorik! Out Sep 20. Then heading to Europe for ADE oct 18, and Berlin Oct 20, for some exciting shows to be announced soon. A month after joining proceedings at our launch party for Sub Club's Nautilus Rising label, Lord of the Isles marks his return on Permanent Vacation with his Clearness of Love EP – a heedless release of four tracks that are easy picks for peaktime on the dancefloor. Club-orientated techno that still remains gentle, heavily steeped in nostalgia: from acid to ambient; and big beat to Balearic. Though perhaps not a blatant choice, the EP's closer "All I Need" is an undeniable highlight – slow-burning, earthly techno with a melody flowing through the bassline that grounds and comforts you all at once. The almost folkloric snippets of the wood flute keeps it reminiscent of Bavarian soundscapes in Recondite's Iffy.

Clearness of Love EP drops on 23rd October via Permanent Vacation.

Lord of the Isles "All I Need" - Boiler Room Debuts

Lord of the Isles is our guest in Hour 2 and the Scottish producer has racked up a string of releases across labels like Phonica, Shevchenko, Permanent Vacation and Japanese label Mule Musiq, on which he has a track featured on their forthcoming compilation. He had this to say about his mix;
"This mix was recorded at home with some records from artists and labels that i’ve been enjoying lately. An unreleased LOTI track that i’ve playing out recently has also sneaked its way in there. Listening back I can tell I’m longing for Summer already. Sounds like memories of a Summer gone by. Thanks for having me hope you enjoy. Nx"

Transmission 3.0 - Lord of the Isles

After starting the mini Dekmantel Selectors podcast series two years ago, it feels like a tradition to bring it back to life. In the next couple of months, we will release 6 podcasts by some of the exciting artists from the line-up. This year’s podcasts challenges the artists to work around a theme or idea they picked theirselves. Next up: Dekmantel label member Tom Trago.

Trago can be seen as one of the main key players of Amsterdam's nightlife. Having grown up in a musical family, he picked up on his love for music really fast and has been making music from the age of 15 ever since. A collaboration with Aardvarck and Awanto3, a debut single on Rush Hour and many DJ-sets worldwide followed, which made Trago the acclaimed musician he is today. Earlier this month we had the honour to release Trago’s newest LP 'Bergen', which was made in the same-titled village in The Netherlands and sees him putting out music through a new live set-up.

In anticipation of Dekmantel Selectors, Trago cooked up a special mix for us containing lots of disco and summer-vibes. "This mix is dedicated to those late summer nights and early mornings. Mostly tracks that i play when i feel that there is freedom and acceptance among the crowd. A lot of home listenings jams And easy groovers. Sit back And relax!".
