After a decade of producing Dance music, I suspended my musical activities in 2005 in order to pursue other interests. Music, however, was always my biggest passion and I was left with a void that needed to be filled. In 2011 I took a shot at songwriting through an online course. I really liked it and since then I've spent most of my spare time doing it. In 2013 I was asked by non-profit organization Boyds Dream to write a theme song for their cause. 'Elke Dag Een Glimlach' was released as a single that same year. The music video that went along with it got over 16,000 views on YouTube. In 2014 I wrote a song called 'Without You Here' for the Answers For Kris initiative. It peaked at number 40 in the Dutch iTunes top 100. My main influences are: The Beatles, Alex Lloyd, Coldplay and Nirvana.
