“Remina Two'' marks BEA1991’s 15th release through BE.AWORLD (2014). 

Remina Two is the spontaneous extension of an earlier written track titled Remina One - a demo retrospectively acting as a mother, birthing a new song while staying behind as the observer. 

“Remina” is the colloquial name for Rhea Silvia; a red-haired goddess who was one of the Vestal Virgins in early Rome. She bore two sons, Romulus and Remus, after being raped by the god Mars (!). She then notoriously flung herself into the Tiber River while her two sons, after being smuggled, were raised by a wolf who lost her cubs, and continued to found Rome.

Remina Two

Señor Dulce, vanished soul,
Drifting where the sugar rolls.
Café breath, a glaze parade,
Whispers hum the throne he made.
Señor Dulce, paper crown,
Rules with sprinkles, shuffles down.
But the bite he hid, the golden ring —
Vanished in a mango swing…

(Echoes: swing… swing… dulce king…)

He came with charts in sticky hand,
Shoes that squeaked like samba sand.
Clipboard dreams, a donut plan,
Built a kingdom — flan by flan.
His chair? A throne of vinyl fate.
His pen? A wand that came too late.
He’d sign with flair, he’d swirl his brew —
But never knew just who was who.

He’d say: “Work light… think slow…”
While jelly danced across his polo.
His gospel? “Rest, then blame the rest.”
And rhythm dripped down his sugar vest.

(rest… vest… blessed?)

Señor Dulce, crumbed and bold,
A caramel myth the breakroom told.
One day gone — like flan on fire,
A whisper now… of sugar empire.

(He left no donut unturned…)

Then came the dawn, all wrong, all gray —
The holy glaze had slipped away.
His drawer was bare, the chosen ring
Had vanished — like a dub delay thing.
He stormed. He searched. He sniffed betrayal.
Accused the desk, the fan, the mail.
But no one cracked, no one replied…
Just bossa beats and pastel pride.

He checked the bins, he checked the clock —
The silence sang like a samba shock.
He spun, he wept, he spun again…
But donuts never spoke back then.

(gone… gone… dulce’s dawn…)

Señor Dulce, slipped through time,
Now echoes in this coffee rhyme.
A sugar law, a pastry ghost —
The softest tyrant we loved the most.

Hailing from Gothenburg, Sweden, Facit is the project of Joakim Karlsson. For almost a decade, he has been producing tearful synthesizer music under various aliases, often teaming up with compatriot Mai Nestor on vocals. 

Smartly drawing a line between Swedish chanson and minimal synth, ‘Måndag Mon Amour’ is Facit’s second EP after having stopped at Veronica Vasicka’s Cititrax in late 2013 with 'Mat Åt Duvorna' (Food For Pigeons). 

Picture two passengers with paralyzing hemophobia, riding a sad carriage and smiling with tranquil melancholy, endlessly playing early 80s analog gear through some spring reverb. It doesn’t take long to remember « notre amour était dans un igloo » and never forgetting it.

Limited edition of 300 copies, hand-numbered insert included.
