The success of 1997 within such a short period of time has been staggering, since debuting in 2020, he has received support from the likes of AC Slater and Gentlemens Club and has released on esteemed labels CruCast and Night Bass, as well as having his debut EP top the Juno Download charts earlier this year.

Prior to 'No Rivals'' forthcoming single release, the track was featured as part of the label, YosH's annual compilation, 'YosH, Vol. 5', 1997's single inclusions helped elevate the compilation to 6th in the Official iTunes Dance Chart as well as peaking at 69th in the overall iTunes album charts and topping the UK Garage Charts. Furthermore, the track, as part of the compilation, was featured on BBC Radio Solent's Guest Mix slot as well as receiving exclusive plays on London's Flex FM and South West Radio station, Trickstar Radio.

Previously 1997 has been included in Bassline Spotify playlists including CruCast and Night Bass' official Spotify playlists, 'CRUCAST' (18,572 likes), and 'Night Bass' (20,184 likes) as well as the gaming playlist 'TOKI-GAMING' (2,665 likes).

1997's forthcoming solo release on the label is an aggressive UK Bass showcase, a sound that 1997 has made his own and has become appealing to a wide audience. The track would be perfect for any bass-orientated playlist such as Bassline Bangers, Inside The Bass, and Proper Naughty, as well as being a perfect fit for any aggressive, motivational, or gym playlist.
