Caspian R joins the Toy Opulent family with his first release under this new moniker delivering two diverse tracks aimed straight at the dancefloors of the more adventurous. The title track Folded Structures delivers a gritty dub techno deep dive backed by a distorted 808 workout — imagine Novel Sound colliding with Echochord with a sprinkle of L.I.E.S. Flammed beats and a wobbly hook establish the groove until the dub atmospheres completely take over. As they echo and fold in on themselves, the crunchy hats and percussion keep everything driving forward in a bump and grind synonymous with Toy Opulent.

Caspian R joins the Toy Opulent family with his first release under this new moniker delivering two diverse tracks aimed straight at the dancefloors of the more adventurous. Beyond the Horizon is an uplifting chamber of bliss that builds into an epic crescendo. Built around arpeggiated discordance with duende qualities, the filters weave the melodic structure. The backbone comes from a straight 4/4 techno rhythm, built around 909 toms, that provides something to latch onto. There's no letting up as the energy builds, dub reverberating djembes provide a tribal feel with SH-101 acid lines adding a final psychedelic twist.
