This tuesday’s back to back session on @caldera-caldera’s @1btn show went effortlessly well. Thanks very much to Malte for reaching out to suggest the collaboration, all based on his instinctual hunch that our musical styles would resonate - he couldn’t have been more correct….this was a magical meeting of minds, musically we really gelled, and I found the whole process highly enjoyable and inspiring. Tracks from the Drifting Forwards EP’ on Well Street Records (under his @loop_lf alias) have been heavily on rotation in my sets the past couple of years, and he kindly passed me a copy of his lush remix of @jwynters’ ‘Ancient Tones’ on @ornate-music, and a copy of the subtle genius that is his ‘Leafs EP’ 4 tracker on @bokharirecords that I’ve been pestering him about for a while now.
