For our next release on our experimental platform we have Seven Sisters Records founder Miotek, based in the U.K but rooted in Latvia.

It was about 7 years ago when we first met Miotek at a space ritual Night in the city of York in the early days of the label with much enthusiasm surrounding it. For us this is a long awaited addition to the series and he does not hold back. Rolling in with the kicks and keeping that energy progressing throughout, as we venture into a void of electro and 303 dust particles. The neon grid fast approaching our unsuspecting brains as we get plugged in.

Just want to express my gratitude to Agnes. The song "Familiar" is one of my favourite songs of all time. It has really helped conduit to my inner feminine and connected 
me on an emotional, somatic and spiritual level for many years. Agnes' musical works
have always been a quite visceral journey for me.
I myself being a drum and bass producer, wanted to encapsulate this feeling of 
deep sentimentality and spin it within the flow of my own creativity. My intention with
music is to create a bridge between the harder grittier aspects of certain genres 
and aggregate the softer more gentle side. Which for me means a symbiotic coalescence of masculine and feminine energies.

Listening back to 4hero's Kiss FM 'R-Solution' radio shows (Which they rotated with on hosting duties alongside Kirk DeGiorgio during the early 2000s) really inspired me. The breadth of the genres on display, which shared a certain musical commonality. Especially interesting was hearing the foundation of went on to become the Broken Beat / West London sound. Fresh off putting together a series of mixes documenting some of my favourite drum and bass tracks (High Dynamic Rage) and with spring on the way, I thought this the perfect time to delve deeper in to the sound (and all things adjacent), which from memory broke through during my days behind the counter in Beggars Banquet, Kingston.
