I started this bootleg in 2012, but never got it much further than a couple verses and a stubbed in breakdown. I revisited it in 2017 and added a bunch more stuff, but it still didn't work. Fast forward to 2021 and the upcoming Space Cowboy's Breakfast of Champions and I knew I needed to finish something, ANYTHING, for my set.

The track had legs but I needed help to find them, and that's when Simon Shackleton announced his 1:1 mentoring services (mixingmasteringmentoring.com). I scheduled a bunch of sessions, and we got to work. 3 weeks later, after cutting and pasting and deleting and rewriting, it finally breathed to life.

I hope you enjoy my take on this early 2000s classic, and it makes you "shake that thing" on the dance floor!

Look for the "How it started, how it's going" into the track's production soon! I'll dive into the original idea and intent, with a spliced track of all the versions so you can hear the changes over time.
