[PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB] proudly opens the 82nd chapter of its sonic chronicle — and here emerges a name from Missouri, USA. Ezra Collins (@ezracollins005) presents Dream OF The Sun EP — four originals and five remixes woven into a single sonic canvas. These are images where sound becomes the language of light, the motion of heat, and the geometry of shadow and vibration. 

Original Works.
::: Tonic Dub — a warm morning fog, dense and transparent at the same time. The bass flows like dew across glass, while the echo unfolds into shimmering geometry.
::: Getting Hot — heat transmuted into frequency. Each loop is a midday pulse of the body, every note the breath of scorching air.
::: In Transit — a meditation of the road, where space contracts and expands, and movement itself becomes a self-sufficient rhythm.
::: Alienicity — a foreign landscape where the streets of the city are reflected in the eyes of an otherworldly guest, and techno becomes their universal language.

::: Dream of the Sun (BRUIT BLANC (@bruitblanc_official) Remix) — white noise refracted into crystals, each ray splitting into infinite spectrums.
::: Tonic Dub (Oldschool_Dubtechno .Producer (@enercube & @x_fr) Beton Cappuccino Mix) — a remix with the flavor of the Beton Cappuccino cocktail: herbal Becherovka, sparkling tonic, and soft cappuccino foam tinged with cocoa. The bass settles like a concrete foundation, while the echo rises as a sweet aftertaste. This is music as a drink, where every beat is a sip.

In Dream OF The Sun EP, Ezra Collins builds a dialogue between inner worlds and the solar core, between warmth and emptiness, between the road and the home. Each work is a window opening onto its own side of the universe, and together they form a map that can be followed endlessly.

After some digital releases, brazilian label Easytiiger finally takes the plunge into the vinyl game with a four tracker by four local new acts ; Mootron, BRZLN Air, Cacos and San Y Mayo. “No Rave”, premiered here, is a rebellion-track led by drunken synthesizers by Mootron, oats between bending arps, sharp leads and echoverb nukes land on a big fat drum kick and bright laser shots hi-hats - no rave! “Detroit”, by the young producer BRZLN Air, contemplates an ode to the whole history on electronic music that made the american city be known for what it is : drums, synths and love, a pure obsession. Cacos brings to life his exquisite dream-lover “Sarah”, a dark & mystic techno combined whith elements of obscure chant rhythms - it’s Sarah. San Y Mayo closes the 4-song compilation marching from the sea into the jungle - you might know what to expect but it doesn’t mean it’s there. Legal cara!

We have the pleasure of premiering the remix of Jus Tadi’s track “Love Like Glove” by the Berlin-based Spaniard Carlo. The remix will be featured along with two other tracks on Jus Tadi’s next EP of the same title.

Carlo took all of these elements from the track and integrated a percussion heavy groove, a solid bass line, well placed breaks accompanied with a kick that builds the track into a dancefloor ready dig. Carlo definitely brought a nice funky touch with his use of breaks in the the track which makes you groove all along it's play.

Jus Tadi’s “Love Like Glove” EP (including Carlo’s remix) will be released on July 21st on the Spanish label Sub_Urban.

Hans Peeman, perhaps better known as Junktion or as one half of Fouk with label mate and friend Daniel Leseman, also has another side project. New Franklin Theory is his lesser known alias, one focusing a bit less on sampling and more on melodic explorations, with a lot more synth work and instrumentation. He's only released under the moniker once before, a 2 track 10" on his own native Outplay Records that perhaps went a little bit under-appreciated. Now he's back once again on the label with a 5 track mini album of sorts, entitled "Chemical Boogie", to really showcase what he can do.

Peeman's signature percussion is perhaps best heard on the opener, Andromeda Beach, a funk and boogie fuelled jam that's closest to what we've come to know him for. Our premiere today and the A2 on the record, Homeward, features some fantastically spacey cosmic pads and a rumbling bass, lending it a bittersweet, introspective sound. Closing off the first side of the record is Afterburner, an uptempo groover with some addictive synthesized horn-like melodies. Ladies and gentlemen, we have liftoff.

On the flip, the B1, In Orbit, takes you for a ride. The funky bassline and deep rhodes chords paired with the interplanetary atmospheres and effects do the title justice. Finally, The Holtzman Effect, named after a fictional scientific phenomenon, caps off the EP with a hooking subterranean bass that sends you wiggling your butt straight into alien territory.It's refreshing to see a producer so well known for a particular sound continue to explore new avenues and evolve as personal tastes change and mature, but still retain some of that flavour that made his music so irresistible in the first place.

@minornotes is a label which LV online has really enjoyed over the last 12 months with some great releases from the likes of Baltimore Chop and Lipski.

Their latest 12" which drops in early March is a super tight five track EP from Guydee presents @lowres_music featuring four original tracks and a remix from Lay-far. 

Expect classy deep house from classic to hypnotic to jazz influenced cuts.

‘Atlantic Exchanges Vol. 1’ is nothing short of spectacular, Felipe & Cody take their mutual love for jazz and house music, merging them together to create this truly original blend of feel good dance music. The talented pair bring their own individual musical attributes to this dance disc, with Cody appearing as lead vocalist & pianist on most of the tracks and Felipe offering his trademark funky bass patterns, as well as vocaling on some of the project. The pair also invited friend and collaborator Ally Mcmahon to guest on ‘Cold Nights’.
