Paris and Lyon-based @InAnyCaseRecords are back again with their brand of dusty, sample house. For their third release they are welcoming back co-founders G2S and Cutouane (also known as Malouane), they also welcome back Manuel Nie and invite newcomers Kaffe Crème and 4004 to the label. The first three releases were prepared well in advance and so the sound has been extremely consistent across the board thus far. Give credit to the label heads (Clément, Théo & Johanna) for having a vision and following through with it. The imprint's sound itself spans from edits to downtempo beats to the aforementioned dusty house sound. Although the sound itself isn't a revelation by any stretch, the effectiveness with which the outlet carries it out is to be admired.

Today's Bolting Bits premiere comes courtesy of the B1 by Mexican producer @4004_Reasons. A staple on Quintessentials and FACES Records, 4004 has a very distinct sound. His jazzy, organic, sampled house is easily recognizable and he's gone back to what he does best for Dice Bar. A swung groove with natural sounding drums? Check. Mellow Rhodes chords and jazzy keys? Check. Deep and subby bassline? Check. All of the right elements are present as usual, just using different samples and the glissando string is one that really stands out in this particular production. Like the label itself, 4004 isn't reinventing the wheel, but he is making a damn good one.

There’s something for everyone on this versatile, enigmatic EP from a talented young producer that we’re sure you’ll be seeing plenty 
more of in time to come.

PREMIERE: Sune - Mimosa Kuriosa [Live Ones]

@westcoast-goddess is a new alias of a Berlin-based producer that has previously released on labels like 100% Silk, Omena, Heart To Heart and Peach Discs under the alias Videopath. Under the new alias Westcoast Goddess, he goes on a spiritual journey to explore soulful and classic house sounds.

New Belgian based label @penelopemusicbe drops the debut release "Truth Rainbow" which has already seen early support coming in from Tensnake, Shanti Celeste, and Marquis Hawkes.

We here at Discobelle can premiere the EP title track, "Truth Rainbow" is a joyful and bumping track with the warm sounding keys and irresistible congas driving you straight for the dancefloor.

Beats on Boat is a compilation vinyl which accompanies the YouTube series which launched on the 5th of March 2020. It aims to show the versatility of the artists that have been featured in it and acts as the blueprint of the direction we want to go with ear-sight as a label. Lo-fi, hiphop, house, disco and the individual interpretations these artists have of those genres.

All the artists involved will have two tracks celebrating their musical diversity. The first vinyl will be the sound you know and love. The second vinyl will be the world premiere, for the majority of the Musicians featured, taking a step out of their comfort zone into a new world of unthreaded territory.

We will be releasing a new set on YouTube every second Thursday which will be accompanied by a double release of the respective artist.

MIMS is excited to premiere a scorching remix of "Tempted", originally by SE Australian "future jazz" collective, 30/70 Collective, reworked here by SE London-based house duo, Athlete Whippet.  Taken from a more-than-solid remix package, also featuring reworks by SAUL, Close Counters, Setwun & Maxwell Owin, out this Friday via Peckham's finest, Rhythm Section INTL.

Hazy house producers, Athlete Whippet have been championed by Scuba, Bicep, Laurent Garnier and The Black Madonna, and now join the RS ranks by way of injecting ‘Tempted’ with foot-stomping percussion and a moody electronic groove that perfectly fits Allysha Joy's vocals.

In their own words, “We’ve loved this album since the moment it dropped last year so it was a huge pleasure to get the stems and rework our favourite track from it. Every single instrumental and vocal performance is brilliant on the original, which made our lives very easy and fun - no matter how we’d reshuffle the elements, it would always sound great!"
