The range spans from Tech House to some Happy-Hardcore-esque DNB. Filling that wide gap is variety of Bass House, UKG, UK Funky, Bassline & much much more. To be able to bring such a wide variety under one release is exactly our aim here at @SUPERSIZEUK - there’s enough donnys specialising their craft into certain sub-genres; we’re here however to bring something different to the table (or your Rekordbox / Spotify Playlist at least!)

Espree is an up and coming bass music DJ/Producer hailing from the infamous Bristol, who’s drive within the club scene has been getting attention from record labels throughout the UK due to his fresh and versatile style with an eclectic twist fused into his productions. 

With a Mixmag feature and multiple radio appearances, he’s catching the attention of some heavyweight artists in the scene such as: Skepsis, Shift K3Y & Sammy Virji as well as KISS FM radio presenters Charlie Tee & Billy Da Kid. 

His latest productions have been energetic and powerful with tasteful underground twists. He is currently working on a huge amount of new original material while still finding the time to handpick tracks to remix into a whole new vibe of his own. After being picked up for a '100% Production Mix' on the legendary Rinse FM, Espree has began to also catch the eye of a few other major-player record labels.  Judging by the amount of unreleased music that he has stacking up, it seems that he has no intention of doing anything other than working full force to imprint his name on the scene and will no doubt be pushing into the upcoming underground artists roster; an artist not to be underestimated.

To kick off 2018 we bring you more fresh talent through the likes of Break The Religion & ManGo. Their collab entitled ‘Fear’ has a piercing snare that cuts through the build up until the rumbling bass accompanied with the electro style synth swings the track into action before coming back around with an even more ruthless 2nd drop made up of a number of bass’s giving a statement of intent that ‘Fear’ puts these young producers right on the map.

Between the two 19 year old producers they have 4 years experience on the buttons experimenting in different styles of Bass House amassing support from DevelopMENT, Pelikann, Shift K3y, Mofaux and more. The 2 Bass House enthusiasts have played venues across Bristol, Cardiff & Plymouth supporting names from Chris Lorenzo, Taiki Nulight, DJ Zinc, Notion, Bassboy, Wen, DJ Luck & MC Neat just to mention a few. ManGo’s latest release came on PAR just before Christmas entitled ‘Elastic’ so 2018 is looking to be the year they’ll announce themselves with a bang starting with their debut 1Forty Release.

Starting out less than a year ago, we gave the young Liverpudlian born producer his debut release with 1Forty, a 4x4 UKG roller entitled 'Gotta Get' which received support on DJ Mag's stream as well as being picked up by a host of names. With this being the only Garage track to date on the Label we thought a VIP would be warmly received as it also has been by DJ EZ & DJ Q.

With an appearance on Marcus Nasty's Rinse FM show at the start of the year and releases on Slime Recordings & Hausmade Witchdoctor's 2018 has been bubbling away nicely.

2019 see’s Fish open his 1Forty account with a Funky/Bass hybrid built around a D Double E sample taken from the modern day Grime classic ‘MUD’ featuring Capo Lee.

You may or may not know it, but Fish has been a pilar of the Bass Music scene over the past decade. Having first dabbled in production at the tender age of 11, he’s been involved with music for longer than most. From running Rood FM between 2010 and 2015 to starting various record labels and online blogs there’s almost no aspect of music Fish hasn’t been involved with.

Fast forward to 2019 and his list of accolades is enough to make your eyes water. From playing to 30,000 people on Bang Hai Towers at BoomTown to frequent appearances at Outlook Festival in Croatia, the infamous Fabric club, and numerous headline shows overseas, the Bristolian is well travelled to put it lightly. It’s no surprise there’s a mountain of reputable Labels he has released on; such as Zinc’s Bingo Bass imprint, Roska’s Kick’s & Snares, The Stanton Warriors world renowned Punks, Tumble Audio, Formula, Four40, Saucy, Yosh, and thats just the tip of the iceberg.

Add all of this to consistent highly praised reviews in Mixmag including a 10/10 as well as collaborations with the likes of Deekline, Holy Goof, General Levy & MC Navigator, his discography is enough to cement his place as a staple in the scene alone. Support on his music comes far and wide from the likes of Dirtybird’s Claude VonStroke and Night Bass’s AC Slater stateside, to BBC Radio 1’s Mr Steezy - Toddla T.
