پدرام یار، موزیسین اهل خراسان که پیش از این، نخستین قطعه اش با نام «نگارم بر لب بوم اومد و رفت» را در همکاری با نشر ساخت ایران منتشر کرده بود. تک آهنگ ترلی‌لی یکی از قطعات اولین آلبوم در دست انتشار اوست. ملودی اصلی این قطعه برگرفته از موسیقی مردمی بخاراست که با ترانه‌ ای جدید، آهنگسازی شده است. همچنین طراحی کاورآرت این اثر کار آیدا بستام است.

|درباره‌ واژه ترلی‌لی

این واژه یک‌ نوع ترنم است. ترنم در موسیقی قدیم ایران، کلمه‌ای‌ ست که برای تزئین و همراهی آواز به کار می رود. دسته ای از ترنم ها لغوی اند که کلمات معنا دار مثل «ای دل» یا «ای جانم» یا «ای یار» را شامل می شوند.
دسته ای از ترنم ها آوایی اند، صداهایی بی‌معنا مثل «آی» «یاهاهاها» «تر دی لالا» «تَرَنی» «تَرَلی». «تَرَلی‌لی» ترنم آوایی‌ست.
