Insano has been working in Costa Rica since 2000. Its mix of modern metal and old school thrash has evolved over the years -and three releases- to a more melodic approach.
 
Insano has been the opening band for metal legends A.N.I.M.A.L. from Argentina, Brazil´s metal gods Sepultura in two back-to-back dates and industrial metal innovators Fear Factory. Some of the most important festivals in Costa Rica have seen the band´s brutal and dynamic show, one of the best among the local scene according to the specialized press.
