Man this remix was bananas. I honestly struggled really hard in the beginning with this song which is surprising because I consume plenty of potassium. I was thinking this song would be easy to remix being that it had lots of percussive elements and a catchy melody, but I was Donkey Wrong. I switched between so many genres and tempos I started to get Cranky. Eventually I decided on something Funky, and just ran with it. This is also the first song I've made in a while that has no SFX, the coconut gun just didn't seem to be fun. The SFX might've just been too Chunky for me. I guess it's the Tiny things in life.

I do have fond memories of this game, and it's better than MK64 don't @ me 

Honestly, when he asked for this track I wasn't sure if I would be able to do a good job with it. The original track is short and has little to no rise and fall action (I mean it works really well as racing music!) since it just goes hard and fast the whole time. I kind of adopted that thought process and just went with it and I think it turned out pretty good! It still sounds like racing music I think and so that's the genre I'm going with lol. The bassline I created probably represents a bounce genre though.

Wowowow this one just flew off my fingertips like butter everyone -chef's kiss-. I simply could not believe how GOOD Hyrule Castle with complextro is! Sometimes you just drink grandma's soup and enter Fierce Deity mode yknow? Once I started putting the track together, the regal dubstep feel with the electro house beat just slapped my pig Ganon back into the void. I feel like I've come a long way since Dark World too, holy crap that was almost 5 years ago?! This is honestly what I wanted Dark World to sound like at the time, but I didn't quite have the chops to do it. The sound density in this one also made my computer cry lol. I hope y'all enjoy this one as much as I had fun making it! 

Man I need to play this game again.

I'm having a great time with Pokemon Unite! The music in the game? I'll say that there's 3 main slappers and we decided to cover two of them! This is the character select screen + loading screen remix along with some other surprises! NoteBlock was in charge of creating the overall midi arrangement and some of the decorative harmonies, and I was in charge of fleshing it out with the sound design, sfx, drums, mixing and mastering! I think this is best of both worlds, saucy beats + dope arrangement :) I decided to go with a drum and bass feel for this one so we could preserve the energy that the original songs have. The orchestral feel is also still present with the brass and woodwind elements. Are you having a good time with the game? Let me know in the comments below!
