As the three of you walk through the channel, you spot a note nailed into one of the pillars.  Strangely enough, neither of them seem to notice it.

"Oh! well, what do I see out there?"

They don't respond.  They had to have heard you...

You take a moment to actually read the note.  It has several symbols that you recognize, but you can't put together what it is trying to convey.

"Hello you two!  Have I time to tell my..."

You look over at them while beckoning, only to discover they have completely frozen in their tracks, not even their hair moving in the slightest.
...
There is a man behind the pillar.  With the sudden stillness of the water and lack of footsteps anywhere else, the slight rustling is clear to you.

"Woah, hold it there, chopper!"

As you turn to the other side of the pillar, the sensation of running water returns, and the man is nowhere to be found.

"What are you waiting for, Liko?  The sooner we can get out of this tunnel, the better."

You gesture towards the pillar, only to notice the note is no longer, or perhaps never truly was there.

"KEEP UP LIMA NO TIME FOR DEAD WEIGHT over"

...Has the blue one always filled you with such a rage?
