The Mad Laboratory of Anti-Matter is the project of Nadia Daou, aka Nâr, and Paed Conca, both based in Beirut.

Nadia Daou, a multi-instrumentalist, explores music at the crossroads of North African and Middle Eastern traditions and Western experimental electronic sounds.
Paed Conca has been active for over 30 years on the contemporary and improvised music scenes as a clarinetist and bassist. He collaborates with numerous musicians and composes for theatre, dance, and film.

“Annihilation Of Denial” is their first album, recorded in one take, almost in live conditions, allowing a wide space for improvisation. Raw and industrial, the dark soundscape of this laboratory is an exploration of the void and everything one can find in it or make emerge from it: a sensory, physical, and timeless experience. The trance-like quality of repetitive music here merges with industrial noise. Intense and hypnotic rhythms, a constant search for textures and nuances, and an unconditional love for raw, total art.
