The One

My friend PHUSE was inspired to make a track for his grandson and asked me to write and record vocals for it. This was some time ago. The song had to be kept under wraps as it was entered into a major competition. I tried to reflect the love PHUSE feels for his family in the lyrics. 
I'm not very good at positive, happy songs, much preferring to lurk in the dark corners of vibe and emotion. 
Yet i hope that here with Soluna I have reflected the love between grandfather and grandson and the fierce sense of protection that exists from senior to junior.

It’s about when someone gets inside your head so deeply that you can’t shake their energy — even when you know you should. Writing it was emotional for me; it felt like finally saying out loud what I couldn’t admit before. It’s seductive, dark, and honest — a reflection of how love can consume you, haunt you, and still make you crave more
