The EP is rooted in rave music and turns to an old style with a new drive and rhythm. Inspired by Happy Hardcore and combined with the heavy techno of today, the EP is a statement of how our industry has been suppressed and overlooked. But also an opportunity for its rebirth. In recent years it has been watered down and overly structured. With this EP, I'm going back to my rave roots and what I originally produced. The true meaning of music, feeling and togetherness.... Berlin’s Pure Hate drops its first release for 2022 from California’s EAS. The ‘Step Beyond EP’ consists of 3 original tracks plus remixes from Keepsakes & Slave To Society.

EAS Is a Southern California based Techno producer and co-owner of Tympanum Records. Involved in the ever-growing Los Angeles Techno scene, Emmanuel Andreas Santamarina is an artist that experiments with a multitudinous array of styles. Having featured on the Perc Trax Remixed EP in 2021 with his huge remix of Perc’s ‘Dumpster’ his productions are fast becoming in demand.

On remix duty this time are Haven label boss Keepsakes who strips back lead track ‘Step Beyond’ into a more Jackin groove aimed squarely at the dance floor, while Slave To Society heads deep into the realm of Industrial Jungle & Breakcore territory with his remix of ‘Take Your Position’.

PH004 is available in stores from 3rd March 2022, distributed by Ready Made Distribution, Berlin.

WOMEN LIFE FREEDOM [DEES-WLF] is a special charity project curated by Deestricted & Aida Arko, including many Iranian artists, that will be released on the International Women's Day, the 8th of March. It has been created to collect money for WOMAN, LIFE, FREEDOM (link in bio) and most importantly to shed light on the current situation of Iran and raise awareness & support the Women in Iran from our scene!

“Woman, Life, Freedom” is a popular political Kurdish slogan and an association that supports global actions in solidarity with Iranian women.

The use of the slogan "Woman, Life, Freedom" in Iran goes back to the series of protests following the death of Mahsa Amini. The slogan was first chanted at her funeral in Saqqez and then was heard in the initial protests in Sanandaj.

Iran is facing the first ever women revolution in its history, started by the death of Mahsa Amini on September 16th 2022. Ever since then people in Iran have shown tremendous acts of bravery risking their lives on the streets, fighting their violent dictator regime, seeking basic human rights and freedom.

By now the regime has responded to the protesters with pure cruelty. Thousands have been arrested or killed, disappeared having critical medical conditions, brutally tortured in jails and sentenced to the death penalty without any court cases or support from the international organizations!
A nation of 8 million citizens & over 4000 years of history needs our international support right now.

This is the goal of this special release that would be supported from a charity event will happen in Berlin 7th of March at @about.blank.berlin with help of amazing local and a massive representation of Iranian all FLINTA djs. 
All profits will be donated to the organization helping women in Iran with the ongoing revolution.

The EP opens with the title track 'Drivetonik', a brand-new production that sets the tone: raw, rolling and built to move bodies. A straight-up Hardgroove banger, it's Bailey at his most focused. All momentum, no compromise. What follows is a rare treat for longtime heads: three classic tracks, originally released on the legendary Primate Recordings, now freshly remastered for 2025. 'Hustler' brings the bounce with its infectious and instantly effective sound. 'Karma' leans into tribal rhythms and percussive layering, while 'Konverter' cuts through with synth stabs and vocal chops, offering a punchy, streamlined ride through early-2000s funk.
