Oyugi Young Gideon(born 16 December 1996) professionally known as Young Gideon,is a Kenyan singer, songwriter and record producer based in Kisumu City.He was born and raised around the westside area of kisumu,in a small town known as Holo.Musically,he is endorsed with a hard-hitting,soft tune delivery and cinematic storytelling with emotional expression combined with honesty and poetic wisdom.The music reflects alot on his background story which tells more about his personality and potrays a true image of his artistry. 
At the age of 16,Young Gideon got his foot in the music scene as a disc jockey,while he was still in high school,2016 marks the year that he fully ventured into music,he started working with local upcoming artists from other Cities and Towns while recording, producing, writing music and performing in local shows around Kisumu and other towns such as Eldoret.Young Gideon released his first mixtape titled Krazy Kollege Life under his independent label Hits Mafia Music,which received recognition from other highly acclaimed artist in the country and other parts of the world while getting featured on official mixtape sites like DatPiff.com.
