Bio:
EchoStorms are Ben Locke and Katya Fadeeva. Born out of their mutual love for electronic music and informed by their disparate but complimentary musical backgrounds, Echostorms make full-blooded, emotionally-charged dance music that incorporates elements of melodic techno, indie dance and house, resulting in a highly distinctive and electrifying production aesthetic that has found favour with tastemaker music media including Dancing Astronaut, 1001 Tracklists, When We Dip and DMC.

With a sound coined as cinematic tech house, EchoStorms is inspired by Ben and Katya constantly travelling the world and absorbing cultural markers on their way. 

Born and raised in Russia, Katya became involved in dance music when she moved to St Petersburg and being heavily involved in the local rave scene, organising and eventually playing at parties. Hailing from Cheltenham in the UK, Ben has been involved in the music industry for years as a producer and writer, with credits including Timbaland, Jason Nevins, Snoop Dogg, Jim Beanz and Lil Wayne. He’s also DJ’d at some of the world’s most renowned venues, including Pacha, Ibiza Rocks and P Diddy’s Grammy Party.

EchoStorms released their debut single Tidal Wave in July 2021 on Dying Light Records/Sony Music: a soaring, melodic dance cut with stunning vocal, backed up with a slamming tech house reinterpretation with Chapter & Verse. A powerful statement of intent from the duo, Tidal Wave received DJ support from David Guetta, Tiësto, Alesso, Martin Garrix, Hardwell, Idris Elba and many more. Creating an atmosphere that’s both reflectively melancholic and incredibly uplifting, Tidal Wave is dance anthem for the ages, performing well in the iTunes charts in multiple territories including #1 in Chile and top 20 in 1001 Tracklists most heard chart."

I ALWAYS WISH YOU KNEW. A very strong sentence and statement that stands tight and speaks for itself. That particular message that never came across and lies down hard in your chest. The unspoken message that could have solved so many misunderstandings and bring closure to so many unsolved mysteries. But, on the other hand, there was always that line, that gap or that boundary that kept you from moving forward and explain yourself. Maybe it is too late now: Life moved on, time has passed and there's only a memory left of what should have been said and done to avoid having that unsolved issue that's still popping up in your mind from time to time.
You have to let go. Make peace with it. I always wish you'd knew, but I chose not to tell.
