Here's a quick 30 minute tribute mix of one of my all-time favorites Cypress Hill. Growing up in South Gate during the time where they were just coming up and to see them blow up before our eyes was truly special.

Prior to putting this mix together I considered myself a casual fan of Tupac's music, but after diving in deep to conceptualize and gather as many obscure interviews, soundbites and acapellas for this project, I found myself thinking of PAC in a whole new way. He was a really deep, passionate and intelligent human being and he knew how to speak to the masses. I hope you enjoy not only the musical value of this tribute mix (real djing going on here)but the introspective value as well.

Tupac Tribute Mix 2.0 - 2014

NWA Tribute mix for all the N.W.A fans out there. I've been meaning to put this mix together for quite sometime, but other projects kept pushing this aside.  The trailers for the upcoming "Straight Outta Compton"  movie that is scheduled for an August 14th 2015 release is what gave me to inspiration and motivation to finally put this mix together.
