Splonie readies his debut appearance on Patrick Topping’s Trick imprint with ‘Don’t Wonna Lose EP’. Combining his nostalgic love of the 90’s rave scene with a passion for synth-wave, the Welsh DJ/producer delivers four colourful and energetic house tracks tinged with melodic sensibilities. 
Title track ‘Don’t Wonna Lose’ leads the pack with chugging synths and punchy drums alongside catchy vocal chops, before ‘We Dance We Love’ keeps the party moving with its pounding kicks and upfront basslines. ‘Crystals’ sees ethereal pads meet crisp percussion as bright melodies flourish throughout before the trance-inducing ‘In Love’ closes out the release with a flurry of vibrant riffs and sizzling production.

Carlos Sanchez, Sizeup and Monoky & Luis Miranda assemble for the second instalment of Hottrax’s Paradise series. 

Following on from the first ‘Paradise’ release featuring POPOF, Rafa Barrios and Kiki, not to mention Paradise Ibiza founder and Hottrax label boss Jamie Jones, the label’s second outing will feature three more quality cuts. 

Up first is Lowwax founder Carlos Sanchez, who’s known for releasing on labels like Roush, Home Invasion and Blind Vision. From the off, ‘Rigmarole’ is an intricate number designed for wonky dancefloors at their peak courtesy of its meandering bassline, rattling percussion and distorted vocals. 

Hot Creations and Material artist Sizeup is next with a swinging slice of house music entitled ‘Calypso’ which comes complete with thudding kicks and rising synths, as well as a cacophony of rims and atmospheric pops. Tying it all together, Monoky & Luis Miranda team up again for ‘Leggo’ which marches forward using shuffling hats, murky stabs and various subtle effects.

This week we have the legends Amine Edge & Dance and Solo Tamas joining the label with their single 'Quick & Dirty', featuring a remix from wAFF.

‘Quick & Dirty’ sees Amine Edge & DANCE and Solo Tamas diverge from their usual sounds into a more lounge-y direction. They’ve paired their voluptuous bass line with their keen sense of percussion, luscious chord stabs, and enigmatic vocals—all tied together with lo-fi filtering  culminating in this sultry composition. 

wAFF kicks up the energy, creating a dance floor ready weapon toting an increased tempo and gritty, segmented 303 lines for his rendition.
