‘Uncomfortable’ is the new single from Elephant Trees, and we see real affirmed songwriting from Martha. Having taken the summer and festival session (played Alternative Great Escape, Kendal Calling, Leeds Pride) to evolve their sound, and collaborating with  relatively unknown producer Lotte Van Den Berg, ‘Uncomfortable’ drops as a call to arms to their fans and the wider industry. The first of a series on new singles set for release in 2019. 

“It’s confused and messy in parts, and that’s intentional, it represents my brain” says Martha Philiips. “I’m writing a lot about mental health, especially in music. Over the past year we’ve seen so many suicides and overdoses, there is a clear need to talk about mental health and the loneliness.”
