As part of the 20/20 Vision – Full Circle 30-year celebrations the label is re-issuing classic records that played a significant part in the label’s story and the co-founders production alias Wolf n Flow provided several key cuts over the years. Perhaps none more so than Messin’ with my Mind which first appeared on Silicone Soul’s Darkroom Dubs label. 

Messin’ was recorded in 2000 as one if the last productions recorded at the legendary Hopefield Farm studio where 20/20 Vision started and became a firm favourite with Mark Farina, Derrick Carter while the Electric Press remixes found a new home for the label’s output in the rising electro house scene of the early noughties fuelling dancefloors in London and Berlin alike. 

Both Electric Press remixes and the original version are included as part of the re-issue of this highly sought-after record but also appearing is a brand new remix courtesy of Oliver.r who is one half of Felon5 and a member of the piping hot London-based Bizarre Trax crew alongside B.Love and Jhobei. Oliver brings the record right up to date with a lively glitch house excursion that does serious dancefloor damage. 

Messin’ with my Mind was recorded over 20 years ago but still sounds as good today as it did on release, the next generation of DJs such as fabric resident Harry McKanna & Phonica’s Luther Vine have taken the record and created a huge demand for classic 20/20 Vision sounds on the sound systems of todays clubs.

20/20 Soundsystem make a long-awaited return, after more than a decade, with brand new versions of their seminal track “Falling” courtesy of Random Factor and Fernando.

The Soundsystem was originally started by Ralph Lawson & Danny ‘Dubble D’ Ward as a way play together live on decks & drums the band grew to include Argentinian duo, Silver City, comprised of Fernando Pulichino & Julian Sanza on bass & keys.

Hailed for a groundbreaking fusion of electrofunk, deep house, dub and indie dance the band set the standard for live electronic music performance in the noughties releasing two acclaimed albums, No Order and Falling and a recording Live at Sonar along the way. The four-piece group toured consistently between 2003-2013 with standout appearances at Sonar Barcelona, Glastonbury, Space Ibiza, EXIT, Love International, Creamfields Argentina, fabric London, Manchester WHP among many others. The bands raw, hypnotic energy and improvisational approach redefined how electronic music could be performed live while their tracks Falling, Sliding Away & Ocean became hits in the clubs.

Falling is re-imagined by Random Factor aka Carl Finlow who turns it into a glitch heavy late-night workout delivered with trademark cutting edge production skills. While Fernando (DFA, Leng, Jura) provides classic electro funk mixes full of balearic bliss. Both sets of remixes offer fresh versions retaining the original vocal hook that sounds even more current today while the dub versions ensure that Falling once again resonates from discerning late-night dancefloors to blissed out festivals and everywhere between…

20/20 Vision continue their 30th Anniversary celebrations with a fresh take on Crazy P’s iconic Stop Space Return—a fan favourite and live staple. This edition features brand-new remixes from Colleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphy alongside classic reworks from the Unabombers.

Murphy’s Cosmodelica Remix transforms the track into an acid-infused disco trip with a 6/8 groove, swirling percussion, and squelchy TB303 tweaks. A stripped-back dub mix allows space for the off-kilter drums and hypnotic bass to shine.

On the flip, the Unabombers’ 2009 remixes return. Luke Una and Justin Crawford craft a proto house jacker with Dani’s sultry vocals, sharp acid lines, and pulsing beats. Their Dub Remix amplifies the madness with echo-drenched effects and driving percussion.

Founded by Ralph Lawson & Carl Finlow in a farmhouse studio near Leeds, 20/20 Vision has grown into one of electronic music’s most respected labels, with nearly 500 releases over three decades. Full Circle revisits the label’s legacy with classic tracks, rare cuts, and new remixes for a new generation.

Full Circle Vol. Two delivers heavyweight remixes of seminal cuts from the label’s archive, featuring contributions from dance music legends Ricardo Villalobos and Random Factor. The A1 sees label co-founder Random Factor reimagining Villalobos’ iconic Easy Lee into a deep, minimal slice of bubbling electro. Lush harmonies and tremulous basslines pulse beneath robotic vocal motifs, showcasing the signature studio wizardry of Random Factor.

On the A2, Bobby. steps up with a powerful slab of driving club energy. His rework of Random Factor’s Lockdown transforms the electro classic into a moody, propulsive workout, mering his massive 4x4 drums, thick synth bass, and shimmering arpeggios—infused with a fresh 2025 dancefloor vitality.

Craig Richards opens the B-side, taking Convergence into shadowy minimal territory. His remix dubs out the vocals across a stripped, percussive framework—effortlessly channelling his unmistakable rhythmic sensibility into a slice of refined club hypnosis.

Closing out the EP, Sean Johnston aka Hardway Bros dives into 2011’s Digitize with a hedonistic acid-tinged rework. Rumbling low-end, snaking basslines and echoed percussion cut against twisted fragments of the original vocals, creating a wonky, euphoric refresher built for late-night systems. "

It's been 10 years since their last release on 20/20 Vision, but it is with great excitement that we welcome Spirit Catcher back to the label with their aptly named Blast From The Past EP! 

As one of the corner stones of 20/20, their early singles and album are legendary label artefacts and these guys were total pioneers of the cosmic, disco infused house sound which then became prominent in following years. 

Blast From The Past has been getting heavy rotation in Ralph Lawson's sets over the summer and so we're really glad to finally see it reach the light of day. This one is a trip into hyperspace with cosmic synth pulses leading the way before a killer bass line takes you track straight to planet Spirit Catcher! 

On the flip Closer takes the trip further with more expert bass hooks being joined by vox pads and otherwordly fx. The EP is finished off with Routing Madness, a homeage to the duos love for analogue studio gear which you can hear in the intricate synth patterns which pop and weave through the tracks duration.

Viewing the dj's record would always show a Carl Finlow moniker or production. Carl Finlow's vocoder work was amazing and inspiring!”.

We hear the phrase ‘unsung hero’ often slung around, but if ever there was a true unsung hero in electronic music it would be Carl Finlow. Active since the early 90s Finlow has produced a prolific catalogue under the pseudonyms Voice Stealer, Silicon Scally and Random Factor on revered labels including Warp, Klang and Novamute but it is now time for Finlow to stand up and be counted for his lifetime contribution under his own name. 

Finlow was the co-founder of 20/20 Vision records and produced many of the early releases so it is a fitting tribute that the label has now compiled a collection of his very best electro works including the timeless classics ‘Anomaly’, ‘Convergence’ and ‘Broken Mirror’ as well as undiscovered cutting edge gems like ‘Undercover’ ‘Format Wars’ and ‘Electromotive Force’.

Born in Liverpool, Finlow was given a Moog Concert Mate MG1 by his father at the age of 13. He spent his lunch breaks entertaining the bored kids of Fisher Moore High School with the original Axel F theme by Harold Faltermeyer.  Carl was completely self-taught, managing to work out how to play keys and program synthesizers in his downtime. He has a pitch perfect ear and a natural gift for producing music. 

Of course there was Kraftwerk at the centre of Finlow’s universe but his knowledge was honed from a young age into the more experimental worlds of Tomita, Raymond Scott, Wendy Carlos, Delia Derbyshire and the BBC Radiophonic workshop. Early forays intro electro included listening to Cybotron and Model 500 but Finlow’s prolific period co-insided with the second wave of Detroit electro led by Drexciya and Aux 88 and the superb album by Dopplereffekt - 'Infophysix'. But it was the late James Stinson (1969-2002) produced Elecktroids - 'Elektroworld' that left the biggest imprint.  Both albums were on constant repeat at the infamous after-parties that happened at The Farm most weekends after going to back to basics club in Leeds. After the weekend dust had settled, Finlow retreated into the studio to forge his own unique marque on the electro genre. The product is in your hands now.

Kosh exploded onto the electro scene in 2018 with his debut release ‘Null 212’ on Casa Voyager records. The track that received the most attention was ‘Catch The Train’ with it’s faultless modern take on classic Detroit electro reminiscent of Cybotron and Aux 88.  It became a big track for 20/20 Vision founder Ralph Lawson who quickly invited Kosh to record for the label.

Kosh - ‘Vicious Love’ is a diverse 4 track EP showing off the Moroccan producers faultless production skills with the A-side featuring ‘An Arab in Space’ that continues to bring the classic sound of Detroit right up to date while title track ‘Vicious Love’ pushes into new territories, incorporating acid tinged synths, vocoded vocals and an insistent fast paced bassline. On the flip side ‘She Gets Mad’ is a straight up dance floor filler from the school of Casablanca while ‘Headache’ is precisely the opposite experience from the title with a relaxed, lush jam that oozes Larry Heard influences.
