Gil Trythall a friend since the 70s was a massively talented musician, composer, teacher and much, much more passing away just this past week. I am trying things I know nothing about as I begin to compose an orchestral piece in homage to him. I can only do what I can do, this an orchestration beginning test for instruments and arranging this will take awhile but these are all in response to his wonderful kind influence in my life I pay homage and respect RIP Gilbert. I will listen and try instruments and movements as I go through creating and paying respect for a while.

As soon as I read this I headed straight for a little apple orchard I know and recorded for several days in the morning, recording additional tracks all in the orchard. Brought back to the studio added two more and here we are. Every sound recorded this week, this was fun. Happy 500th Naviar Records!!! Very proud of you!!! I remember participating in the first 52.
