The 206 South Jefferson Street name, in addition to being the address and a tribute to the legendary club The Warehouse (where the House as a genre was born and named), is also a tribute to the Disco era and the origin of House Music: free, intense, democratic, and closely linked to club culture and the Black American LGBT movement.

Through feverish and timeless sets that transit between House and Disco Music, 206 S. Jefferson St. invites the audience to revisit the boiling point of Chicago's pioneering dancefloors in the mid-80s.

The name behind this is the Rio born and Genova based Dj/producer Alvaro Marques. One of the creators of the party Deepdizco and the urban festival FAU, both in Rio.

The project itself is a result of a lot of passionate research and genuine love for the Disco/House Music Culture.
