Il y a presque 100 ans, Nicola Sacco et Bartolomeo Vanzetti, deux anarchistes, ont été condamnés à mort et exécutés aux États Unis après un procès à charge, marqué par le racisme envers les italiens et la chasse politique. En 1971, le réalisateur Giuliano Montaldo leur consacre un film dont la célèbre musique de Ennio Morricone et Joan Baez est devenu un hymne antifasciste et antiraciste. C'est l'adaptation de Georges Moustaki que j'ai reprise ici.

Almost 100 years ago, Nicola Sacco and Bartolomeo Vanzetti, two anarchists, were sentenced to death and executed in the United States after a biased trial marked by racism towards Italians and political persecution. In 1971, director Giuliano Montaldo made a film about them, featuring famous music by Ennio Morricone and Joan Baez, which became an anti-fascist and anti-racist anthem. It is Georges Moustaki's adaptation that I have used here.
