With "Tides of the Bloom", Julian Petrin has re-recorded one of the earliest works in his back catalogue. The original theme was composed and first performed in Munich in 1990 as theatre music for a performance of Wedeking's „Sping’s Awakening". It reflects the desire for self-determination, which is at the centre of Wedeking's play. The new recording transposes the theme into the sound world of today without denying the spirit of its time of origin.
