DJ Pennebaker talks with violist Bruce Owen, founder of local chamber ensemble Musaica. Bruce talks about Musaica's "Music from Around the World" program, which kicks off their 12th season on 9/7 at Marigny Opera House and 9/8 at Munholland Methodist Church in Metairie. Both concerts are at 7:30pm. Here, he discusses the composers and works featured in the program, including one by the late New Orleans composer Wee Kee Brody. This interview has been edited.
