Leon St. James and Calavera are two music producers hailing from Chicago, IL. Both have impressive solo musical careers, with over 2 decades of combined experience. Their talents came together organically through a jam session in Leon's apartment late one night in 2015. This fusion of styles continued to grow and, in late 2016, became known as 20XX.

Leon St. James brings an eclectic range of musical taste to the beats, referencing a wide variety of styles from hard rock and classic R&B to bossanova and orchestral arrangements. He possesses an uncanny ability to pick out the smallest part of a melody and transform it into a new sound. 

Calavera adds depth to each beat by masterfully adding his personal blend of percussion, bass, and additional melodies. His extensive experience making completely original songs in a range of genres, from trap to Mexican to rock and pop, allows him to either create new melodies or enhance an existing melody in a unique way.

Together, they create music for movement: jaunty, inspiring melodies wrapped in velvety warm bass tones. 20XX is synergy done right, a perfect example of how two people with different tastes can come together and create something legendary.
