UK based 22 Digit Records welcomes back Tom Ellis who over the years has become a regular of the label now returning for his fourth EP.

Tom Ellis has an extensive back catalogue featuring many highly respected labels including Moon Harbour, Night Grooves, UntilMyHeartStops and Archipel.

Many also know Tom Ellis for his residency and longstanding involvement with the Freerotation Festival, but he also plays regular headline slots at other clubs and events.

Heavily influenced by Jazz and with a love an analogue sound this EP is another fine example of the genius that fans of Tom have come to expect.

Alongside the two original cuts is a remix by Lovebreak which is the artist alias of someone who has been heavily involved in the music industry for many years, but is now ready to step out from behind the scenes and take the spotlight themselves.

Both of the originals have a techy funk to their groove with eccentric sound design and soulful use of a sampler, while the remix gets experimental with its chugging sound full of personality.

22 Digit Records is run by William Reed (William Welt) and Peter Bartram (Pete Weasel/DEE.P). Peter is also the resident VJ for Newcastle-based clubbing institution, Shindig. 

The label has a firm focus on deep and percussive electronic music and has received regular support from key players, appearing in set listings by the likes of Richie Hawtin, Jozif and Richy Ahmed, among many others. 

As well as being featured digitally on compilations including the critically acclaimed 'Balance' mix CD series, 22 Digit presses limited runs of coloured marble-effect vinyl through its sub label, 22 Digit LTD.  

While focusing on a close family of core artists, the label also releases music from other producers that share its vision. These have included Matt Tolfrey, Ekkohaus, Trus’me and Moodymanc to name but a few.
