Feels Good

This doesn't really sound like "26lost" in my opinion, and I'll explain why. When I made my EP I wasn't in the greatest place emotionally, yet I was at my most inspired. I was really lonely and the music was a great emotional outlet, I made music that sounded like how I was feeling. Thankfully I'm in a better place now, but now whenever I try to make music like how I used to, it just doesn't feel the same. You can see this with Wrong Place Wrong Time, I was trying to emulate the type of music I made when I was at my lowest, yet I was doing well when I made it. It wasn't the same. This song doesn't sound like 26lost because 26lost was me at my lowest. I made 26lost as a way to explore my interests, dreams, and mental state at the time. Now that I'm out of that dark place, I feel like anything I make won't be the same, and that's okay. Is this the end of 26lost? Maybe. Probably not. I'm still not sure. But this song is a reflection on all of this. A hopeful end of an era.
