We are a Rock band from the Boston area just starting out. The name 27 club comes from a group of musicians who all died at the age of 27 from drug overdoses and such. Those musicians include Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morison, Robert Johnson, Brian Jones, Janis Joplin, Amy Winehouse, and so on. We are influenced by bands and musicians like the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, Joe Walsh, Foo Fighters, Aerosmith, Stevie Ray Vaughan, John Mayer, Sublime, and Stone Temple Pilots. We are starting to write some originals but for the most part we play covers from the 70's to the modern music.
