De La Soul 'Stakes Is High' 20th Anniversary Mixtape mixed by Chris Read

Most people don't dig Earl Klugh because he's been labeled as "Easy Listening" or "Smooth Jazz". That may be true but damn that's a pretty acoustic guitar sound he's got! "Acoustic Lady" was recorded in 1978 at Electric Lady Land Studios in NYC and it features his beautiful harp-like sound on the guitar. It's from an album called Heart Strings, which I guess isn't helping his "soft" image. Oh well, makes no difference to me....I'm secure in my "softer side", are you?
