Files I Forgot isn’t just a project — it’s a resurrection.

Over the past six years, I recorded hundreds of songs. Some dropped. Some didn’t. Some were meant for albums that never came out, others were created in basements, bedrooms, green rooms, hotel rooms, or right after shows. Some were rough ideas that turned into full tracks. Others were moments of clarity that never fit the right rollout or season.

This is not a typical mixtape.
It’s a sonic journal of who I was and what I was becoming.

From 2018 to 2024, these 21 tracks document my rawest moments — from the early days when I was still just learning to record myself and shape my sound, to the moments where I started realizing I had something bigger to say. You’ll hear different versions of me: the hungry rapper, the experimental artist, the storyteller, the battler, the loner, the visionary.

The production mirrors the journey — gritty 2018 soul trap meets polished 2024 space rap. Expect chopped vocals, swirling pads, booming 808s, shimmering synths, and raw vocal takes that feel like journal entries turned anthems.

Collin Blake Brown, known as 2B, is an artist, producer, and multi-instrumentalist who specializes in blending genres. Since starting in 2018, he has rapped on over 100 songs across 10 projects, gaining 10 million+ Spotify streams, including 2 million in 2024 alone. A self-taught creator, he records, mixes, and masters his own music. 

His 2020 album If I Die Young marked a turning point, and in 2022, his grandmother’s record collection introduced him to genres like funk, soul, and reggae, shaping his evolving sound. Inspired by the the legends of yesterday 2B has currently shifted away from mainstream rap music, he now plays guitar daily. 

2B has performed across Texas alongside NLE Choppa, Tay Money, Lil’ Keke, Polo G, and That Mexican OT and has been featured on multiple radio stations. His career took a life-changing turn after a tragic shooting at his first major show in Tyler, Texas, pushing him to create meaningful music. 

In the past year, he’s produced 30+ songs and ended 2024 with his first self-produced project, Rising Man , after earning a Bachelor’s degree in audio production from Full Sail University. 2B is on a mission to bring real musicianship back, proving music is about more than numbers—it’s about impact.
