Over the years, the Southpoint team have made a point to keep an eye on bass music internationally, with today's new addition to the 'Introducing' roster being long in the making. 

We are thrilled to introduce you all to the sounds of Sevendwalk, one of the brightest producers emerging out of the rapidly growing Russian bass scene, with his brand new single 'Shut Up'. It's a powerhouse of an introduction, with raucous bass influences running through its heart. The pure punchiness of the composition is pretty magnificent and we couldn't be more excited for what the future holds in store for this latest golden find!

Kicking off the month of May, we welcome Dallas-based producer Dutch Dannis with his Decisions EP. The lead track, 'Decisions,' packs plenty of groove and is just one of those straight-to-the-point kind of tunes destined for the club. 'Dance All Night' carries a similar groove to the lead track, although the break offers a pretty trippy and almost euphoric melody and vocal combo, which adds a quite unique touch to the track. With Christmas just around the corner and an exciting new year lined up for the landscape of bass music as a whole, we couldn’t be more excited to be squeezing in an early Christmas present for you all as we bring you this weighty two tracker courtesy of Boulder resident Teal.

The title track ‘Boogie To The Drums'  begins with stripped back Jackin' drum arrangements, building energy as we sprint towards an excitable breakdown. At this point we are greeted with electric energy from grinding bass synth leads and groovy vocal licks, making this one a bass house playlist must.
The second track ‘Satisfaction' is a new school bass roller, perfect for warming the dance, packed to the edges with a combination of bit-crushed leads and potent sub textures, interwoven with tasteful drum breaks and the classic ‘Satisfaction’ vocal sample. 

A massive thanks to Teal for putting this one forward and a very happy holidays from all of us at 3000!

Teal - Satisfaction

We welcome back Ghetto Ghetto mainstay, CastNowski! You may remember from his explosive EP, 'The Factory' back in 2018 that caught the attention of high profile artists from across the globe. This time he delivered to us ' Lorem Ipsum ' which features three original tracks and a whopping five remixes from some of the hottest artists around the globe. First up, we have 'Five Star Dish' featuring Las Vegas-based Blak Trash who are no strangers to the label. This song features an incredibly evil breakdown complimented by Blak Trash's infectious vocals and then you have bass heavy drop filled with bass fills and a variety of low-end sounds. Next up, we have 'No Magic'. This track is vicious, it relies on the philosophy less is more and is more in the line of the traditional Ghetto Ghetto signature sound. Finishing out the EP is 'Early Days' which isn't to be slept on at all. Make sure you don't get fooled by the classic house breakdown, the drop delivers some serious low-end bass that tickles the mind. Incredible EP from Quebec City Resident CastNowski.

Oh, we're not done yet. We decided to do a massive remix package for 'Five Star Dish'. First up we got Ghetto Ghetto Favorite Kjuus all the way from Oslo, Norway. For his take, he took an 808 and heavily distorted it and had it serve as his primary element throughout the track and in doing so created a club smasher. Then we got Qlank who just dropped an EP on Ghetto Ghetto. His remix is explosive, you have some heavy low-end control on this one with incredibly snappy drums. We also enlisted, Rod Fussy who is also no stranger to Ghetto Ghetto having dropped two EP's over the years for us. His remix brings back some classic gangsta vibes from 2014, that inspired us to start the label. His bassline is superb and coupled with a nice minimal pluck that will have any dancefloor grooving into the early morning. Luke Andy returns to the label and we're stoked to have the San Diego native join this superstar remix roster. He provided a deep booty tech remix of 'Five Star Dish' that is truly different from anything we've ever released on the label. Luis Da Silva rounds out the remix package. His build-up is super minimal and takes a lot from the original until the drop. Then it just gets fun, it's the most aggressive drop on the package by far with a filthy bassline that will turn heads whenever it is played.
