Decided to go back to my roots and flipped this one into a 2014 Monstercat inspired melodic midtempo jam! Lots of kawaii chords and feelgood vibes :)

I was tasked with writing this entire song while on tour, so this ended up as a little bit of a passion project in various greenrooms. (I wrote about 90% of the song in Birmingham, AL) It was challenging, but I think the sheer euphoria of living around such talented people spilled into the song itself!

I entered my first remix contest in 3 years - remixing this very pop punky tune by ILLENIUM & All Time Low! In the end, I ended up not placing, but THAT'S OKAY BECAUSE:

1. The winning remix by Rycsu is absolutely DESTRUCTIVE (CHECK IT OUT FR)
2. I had the time of my life putting this together, and it reminded me how much I enjoy writing simple tunes that pack a punch
