This song is my way of paying tribute to Indigenous peoples — their history, their traditions, and their resilience. The heartbeat drums, the imagery of mountains and rivers, and the spirit of voices rising together all come from a place of respect. This is my first EP, produced by Jay Ross. It features three talented artists from The Gambia, representing the unity between our sounds and cultures. I’m originally from Senegal, and I wanted my debut project to reflect the spirit of both my homeland and my brother country, Gambia.


I recorded 15 songs, but carefully selected five that best captured my vision and story. I hope you enjoy this project as much as I enjoyed creating it.

I never set out to be a rapper or singer. What changed that was when my cousin returned to the U.S. while facing multiple charges. He wanted to turn his life around and decided to pursue rap, inviting me to join him. I figured, why not — let’s give it a shot.

Unfortunately, life took a tougher turn for my cousin and he couldn’t stay focused on music. But through him, I was introduced to Nuha — better known as The Mind. Soon enough, people will understand why he’s earned that name. He lives and breathes music.

Through Nuha, I connected with his circle. Jay Ross, one of the most underrated producers out there — people really sleep on his talent. And then there’s BS3, someone I’m genuinely looking forward to working with. Right now, they’re both helping me develop two songs that I plan to release on 10/10/25 as a true test run.

What Nuha and his team taught me is simple but powerful: to believe in something. They reminded me that passion and hope still exist out there — and that’s what I’m chasing with this music.
