I made this in 2002 when I first started really making beats. This project was to make an album of original instrumentals that were also meant for bboys & bgirls. Most of the tracks later went on to be used in the "LORDS OF THE FLOOR 2", "BBOY SUMMIT 2004", "MASSIVE MONKEES 2OH6 STEP ALL SOULED OUT" DVDs & GRAYSKUL’S "WAND AND THE GUN" LP.

B-Boying Roots: 2DR Monkee was an active B-boy from 2004 to 2013, representing Neuchâtel, Switzerland. He was a core member of the renowned Deep Trip crew (from 2007), founder of 2DR Squad (2008), and key member of Good Fellas crew (2004–2007).

Musical Journey: Transitioning to music, 2DR Monkee, also known as AMNK or Wordless, began beat-making as a hobby in 2008 and explored DJing from 2014 to 2016. He produced the Groove Session Anthem in 2016 for the notorious Groove Session breaking event (Neuchâtel, Switzerland) and contributed tracks to the iconic DPC Jam event's soundtrack (Zurich, Switzerland).

Creative Contributions: As a multidisciplinary artist, 2DR Monkee played a pivotal role in the launch of the Groove Session event, showcasing his talents as a graphic designer, illustrator, video editor, and motion designer—his primary profession.

Personal Story: Born in the 1990s in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, 2DR Monkee embraced a digital nomad lifestyle in 2013, traveling globally before settling in Tokyo, Japan in 2024.
