Based in Manchester, UK, Analect is a highly exciting and prolific producer and DJ. Over the past 18 months he has had a non-stop release schedule, with releases on labels such as Obscuur, HARDER, Under Division and Khazad Records. He made his vinyl debut on Rudosa’s imprint Moments in Time back in February which saw his track “What you do to me” rise in to the top 50 of Beatport’s Techno chart. His releases have gained solid support from some of the biggest names in the industry, most noticeably from Amelie Lens, who included one of his tracks in to her Radio 1 residency mix showcasing new faces in the techno scene.

Gonzo MDF [Counterweight, Rote Sonne]
The Dj, Producer and co-owner of the label Counterweight Gonzo MDF was born in the 80s in a
small town of Andalucia and is currently based in Munich .
Gonzo was already a techno addict for years when he moved to Munich in 2010, but after he
arrived in the Bavarian city he immediately felt the need of a stronger & harder Techno presence
in the city. Hit by this scenario and his passion for playing vinyl, in 2014 Gonzalo and some
friends finally decided to set up their own music project under the acronym SPVBT and started
placing some parties in small venues and off locations.
In 2016 he started alongside with Marco H a new event series called Counterweight, which takes
place once in a month in the stunning Rote Sonne. Since the beginning, Counterweight was
characterized for their rough sound and focused their bookings on acts that didn’t play in the
city before such as Dax J, Stranger, I Hate Models, Sunil Sharpe, Freddy K or Ansome, just to
name a few.
In 2017 Gonzalo and Marco decided to move one step further and their platform Counterweight
became also a record label. The first two references of the label were delivered by Gonzo MDF
including a collaboration of the great Endlec. The releases quickly got attention of some of the
heavyweight artists of the scene and got played in some of the most important venues in
Europe.
Gonzo’s sets could be defined by only one word: action. Expect the perfect mixture of early 00’s
Techno with the present, lots of tracks you’ve never heard before and for sure, most of it on
Vinyl.

About time to get the podcast back and running, and first one to kick off this year is one of the STRECK founders, SIMA.

SIMA is a Berlin-based producer and DJ, originally from Gothenburg. During 2020, he had 2 releases on the label Ismus, with one more planned for 2021. 
Together with STRECKs Icelandic hammer STEFÁN, they where debuting as duo Rogue Wave on STRECK's first release with the track "Feeble Life". On this double vinyl VA, he's also contributing with a track of his own as well as an additional collab with KAL KET.

SIMA is also part of a new live music project called “SSSR” together with two familiar faces from STRECK.

Short but absolutely sweet, ‘Mutated Battle Breaks’ embodies the exact kind of climbing-the-walls energy found at his DJ sets across the world, bringing his broad range of influences and experience to a label constantly pushing exceptional techno.
Releasing on labels such as Rekids, M-Plant, and Blueprint, the wildly prolific Broom has consistently been at the forefront of the techno scene for decades with his gritty, groove-based output while, away from the dancefloor, his The Fear Ratio project with James Ruskin continues to win critical acclaim.
