2G (2nd Generation) is the brainchild behind the work of producers Michael Gaddy and Gary Hutchinson. The duo started out in 2011, striving to deliver their own take on house music. Their sound falls somewhere in between lush, organic old school atmospheres and the focus and sharp edge of modern productions.

The Tuscaloosa pair set out to blend in genres as diverse as acid house, electro and minimal; with a personal and eclectic approach. The duo's formula is characterized by a dynamic and energetic approach, not only apparent on their studio material, but also exploding like a blast when performing behind the decks, as numerous performances throughout the states testify.
