Next up this summer on Nic Fanciulli's Saved Records is a release that we have been super excited to share with you even since we were first sent it back in 2019 and we're delighted to now be able to release the 'Nonsifa' EP from label favourite Ruben Mandolini who teams up with Riky Ild and Uness to bring you his latest outing. A record that has been in high demand ever since label boss Nic Fanciulli championed it at his Dance Or Die parties back in Ibiza 2019, 'Nonsifa' has already been heavily supported by the likes of Carl Cox, Fisher, Piero Pirupa, Marco Faraone and many more; truly indicative of Ruben and Riky's signature sound, oozing hypnotic vocals, an irresistible bassline, heavyweight Tech House drums, bubbling percussion and a grooving low-end. Ruben closes out the EP with another collab track, this time featuring the vocals of Uness, 'Take No More' maintains the high levels of energy with mesmerising vocals, stomping, raw drums and a commanding bassline running throughout.

Our next release on Roushlabel comes from the increasingly popular Bassel Darwish. The Distance Music frontman has amassed an impressive amount of high-quality labels on reputable labels over the last few years and his own label is really picking up momentum too. His 'Bring Down' EP consists of two big originals and a remix from Madrid-born producer FreedomB. The title track opens the release with a sophisticated groove. Built around a weighty sub bassline and an undulating beat with a subtle level of vocal presence, it finds itself in amply sufficient vibe building territory and would suit daytime terrace atmospheres perfectly due to it's stripped back and 'easy to move to' approach. Next up, 'Code' takes things up a few gears in the energy department. An uptempo stripped back dancefloor pleaser, carrying with it a rumbling low-end, hooky vocal and finespun melodic presence. Another quintessentially groovy number with more underground intensity, perfectly capable of cranking up the heat in the peak hours of any party. Last but not least, FreedomB's remix of 'Code'. Keeping the focus on the track's ambience, the substituted bassline and clever use of hypnotic effects in the transitional phases give it a completely new identity. Not too dissimilar to the original, but, at the same time presenting standout differences which make for an enjoyable new experience of something that was already highly engaging... clever work from an intelligent creator! Last year provided huge successes for both MANT and Biscits as stand-alone artists, now the producers have decided to team up for a triple threat release. With Solardo already backing the rising DJs, the lads welcome the Carnival Tune EP to their Sola label. 

Lead EP track Carnival Tune features whirling synth breakdowns amongst a thrilling vocal sample that boasts carnival infusions of punchy drums, sprightly percussion and subtle parade whistles. Meanwhile, Get Busy blends a flourishing arsenal of bassline jitters, a compelling vocal chop and rumbling subs. Demonstrating their whole hosts of skills, MANT and Biscits each bring something unique and captivating to the table. 

MANT are a British duo steadily building up their own solid following, with releases on Circus, VIVa and previous release Higher Self on Sola, the duo have moulded an eclectic range of musical influence in to their own signature sound. More recently, their Sonny Fodera collaboration Moving Up reached the Beatport Top 10, while their raucous DJ sets left a mark on festivals and clubs up and down the country last year, tipping them as ones to watch for 2019.

Biscits’ deft productions have been bubbling away for a while now, with his records making their way into the collections of Claude Von Stroke, Gorgon City, TCTS, and Idris Elba to name a few. Now established as one of the most exciting artists to emerge on the scene, his release Do It Like This reached an impressive no.2 spot on the Beatport chart last year and still sits in the Beatport Top 10. With Danny Howard, Pete Tong and MistaJam on BBC Radio 1, championing his Insane EP alongside Sonny Fodera this year, Biscits’ 2019 looks set to be full of promise.
